Biographical Information

Yuyang Li has played for the Chinese national team.

Li hit .222/.276/.333 with four runs in eight games in the 2019 U-18 Baseball World Cup, handling 77 chances error-free at first base. He led the event with 75 putouts while only Hyeon-woo Kang had more chances without an error. He played for the Sichuan Dragons in the 2023 China Baseball League. He made it to China's senior team for the 2022 Asian Games (held in 2023 due to delays from the COVID-19 pandemic). Debuting against Laos, he pinch-ran for Pei Liang and scored on a YongKang Kou double. His first at-bat came pinch-hitting for Chen Chen and being retired by Japan's Mizuki Kato. He finished the event 0-for-3 and had one putout in left field.
