Biographical Information[edit]
Yuyang Li has played for the Chinese national team.
Li hit .222/.276/.333 with four runs in eight games in the 2019 U-18 Baseball World Cup, handling 77 chances error-free at first base. He led the event with 75 putouts while only Hyeon-woo Kang had more chances without an error. [1] He played for the Sichuan Dragons in the 2023 China Baseball League. [2] He made it to China's senior team for the 2022 Asian Games (held in 2023 due to delays from the COVID-19 pandemic). Debuting against Laos, he pinch-ran for Pei Liang and scored on a YongKang Kou double. His first at-bat came pinch-hitting for Chen Chen and being retired by Japan's Mizuki Kato. He finished the event 0-for-3 and had one putout in left field. [3]
