Biographical Information[edit]
Yong-ho Lee pitched for seven seasons in the Korea Baseball Organization.
Undrafted out of college, Lee signed with the OB Bears. He allowed 5 runs in 3 2/3 IP in 1993 then was 2-2 with a 2.15 ERA in 7 games in 1994. In 1995, he had his career year: 3-5, 10 Sv, 1.95 with only 58 H in 101 2/3 IP. He was 9th in the KBO in saves. He helped the Bears to the 1995 Korean Series, where he won game 3 as they took the title over the Lotte Giants. He was 2-1 with a save and a 4.24 ERA in 1996 then was 1-0 with a 9.00 ERA in limited action in 1997. He made brief appearances with the Doosan Bears in 2000 (8 R in 9 2/3 IP) and LG Twins in 2002. He ended his career 8-8 with 11 saves and a 3.32 ERA in 95 games. In 197 2/3 IP, he allowed 161 hits and 108 walks while fanning 121.
He later was head coach of Cheju Tourism College (2009-2012) and then coached in the minors for Lotte.
