Wilmer Alvarado reached A ball.
Alvarado hit .225 in his pro debut with the 2005 DSL Cardinals. In 2006, he batted .299/.398/.433 for the VSL Cardinals and .116/.235/.186 for the DSL Cardinals. He split 2007 between the Johnson City Cardinals (.146/.293/.208) and the Quad Cities River Bandits (.200/.267/.263).
Alvarado played for the Venezuelan national team that won Silver at the 2009 Bolivarian Games and Gold at the 2010 South American Games.
