Biographical Information[edit]
William Bell is among the all-time leaders in Wins in Negro League history. While he is known as William Bell Sr., he is no relation to the William Bell Jr. who also played in the Negro Leagues.
He played from 1923 to 1948 for the Pittsburgh Crawfords, Kansas City Monarchs and Newark Eagles
