Biographical Information[edit]
Wei-Han Hung played in the CPBL.
Hung represented Taiwan in the 2018 U-23 Baseball World Cup, hitting .367/.472/.467 and tying for 5th with 6 walks. [1] He was also with them in the 2018 World University Championship. The Wei Chuan Dragons selected him in the 16th round of the 2019 CPBL Draft, and he hit .318/.401/.492 with 9 triples in the minor league in 2020. He set the CPBL minors record for most triples in a season, and also ranked 8th in RBI (tied with Ming-Chieh Lin), 6th in doubles (4 behind Po-Hao Huang) and 7th in batting (between En-Shih Huang and Chih-Cheng Chiu). He struggled in 2021 as his batting line was .167/.196/.167, and he only played 16 games with a .257/.333/.314 batting line in 2022. The TSG Hawks then selected Hung in the expansion draft, and he hit .258/.377/.291 in the minors in 2023.
