Biographical Information[edit]

Wei-Chih Su played in the CPBL for 5 years.

Su represented Taiwan in the 1995 Universiade. The Uni-President Lions signed him in 1999, and he was 1-for-14 in his rookie year. He then hit .236/.319/.292 in 2000, but he struggled in 2001 as he hit .099/.179/.113 in 48 games. He was 0-for-1 in the 2001 Taiwan Series, and the Brother Elephants beat the Lions in 7 games. Su then hit .225/.311/.325 in 2002, but his batting line fell to .169/.216/.361 in 2003. He announced his retirement after the 2003 season.

Overall, Su had hit .178/.252/.264 with 56 hits and 5 homers in 5 seasons in the CPBL.
