[1] Boda was with Hungary for the 2023 European Championship, their first European Championship. He made two appearances. In their debut versus Italy, he closed out a 15-2 loss, relieving Benedek Laffer with the bases loaded and two outs. He got Ricardo Paolini to ground out to end it. Against Sweden, he relieved Márk Magas with a 14-7 deficit in the 8th, one on and one out. Jeff Pruitt was retired for interfering with the catcher but Leo Bäckström then homered. Thomas Paulich doubled, Daniel Johnson walked and Albin Käck singled to make it 17-7. Alex Ogg then took over. [2]
