Biographical Information[edit]

Albin Käck has played in the Elitserien and for the Swedish national team.

Swedish stats prior to 2020 are no longer available online (as of 12/31/2023). He hit .250/.400/.438 as a part-timer for the 2020 Rättvik Butchers. [1] He fell to .233/.364/.395 in increased action the next year, was 0-1 with a 5.68 ERA and had 27 chances error-free as a OF/1B/P. [2] In '22, he was 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA and produced at a .220/.425/.288 clip. He tied for 4th in the loop with 20 walks. [3]

In the 2023 Federations Cup, he hit .250/.429/.438 with five walks in five games; only Leonel Reina Viant had more walks. [4] In the Elitserien that summer, he batted .371/.446/.539 and was 10-for-10 in steal attempts. He had no errors in 91 chances. He tied Tommy Lindell and Sam Börjes for 7th in runs (28). [5] Debuting for Sweden's senior national team in the 2023 European Championship, he replaced Philip Gajzler at DH against Great Britain and flew out against Alex Webb. He finished 1-for-8 with a run and a RBI and had 3 putouts in the field for the Euros. He got his hit off Hungary's Viktor Boda. [6]
