Biographical Information

Albin Käck has played in the Elitserien and for the Swedish national team.

Swedish stats prior to 2020 are no longer available online (as of 12/31/2023). He hit .250/.400/.438 as a part-timer for the 2020 Rättvik Butchers. He fell to .233/.364/.395 in increased action the next year, was 0-1 with a 5.68 ERA and had 27 chances error-free as a OF/1B/P. In '22, he was 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA and produced at a .220/.425/.288 clip. He tied for 4th in the loop with 20 walks.

In the 2023 Federations Cup, he hit .250/.429/.438 with five walks in five games; only Leonel Reina Viant had more walks. In the Elitserien that summer, he batted .371/.446/.539 and was 10-for-10 in steal attempts. He had no errors in 91 chances. He tied Tommy Lindell and Sam Börjes for 7th in runs (28). Debuting for Sweden's senior national team in the 2023 European Championship, he replaced Philip Gajzler at DH against Great Britain and flew out against Alex Webb. He finished 1-for-8 with a run and a RBI and had 3 putouts in the field for the Euros. He got his hit off Hungary's Viktor Boda.
