Viktor Belin has played for the Croatian national team.
Belin hit .263/.391/.263 in the 2014 European Junior Championship Qualifiers, with 8 runs in 5 games, tying for 8th in the event in runs. [1] He was 0 for 5 for Nada SSM Split in the 2016 CEB Cup. [2] He went 0 for 2 in the 2017 CEB Cup. [3] He was 1 for 9 with 5 walks and a run in the 2017 European Championship U23. [4]
In the 2019 European Interleague, he hit .308/.378/.554 for Nada with 18 runs and 14 RBI in 16 games, going 12-for-14 in steal attempts. He was second in steals, 6th with 36 total bases (between Trevor Caughey and Jose Diaz), tied Phil Smith for 5th with 3 homers, tied for 7th with 5 doubles, was 5th in RBI (between Caughey and Kruno Gojković), tied for 6th in runs, tied Diaz for 8th with 20 hits and was 8th in slugging. [5] That summer, he debuted for Croatia's senior national team, at the 2019 European Championship. He got into two games, replacing Dario Colović in center late in a loss to Austria (he did not bat or get a chance in the field) and then replacing Fran Stančić Vidrač in left versus France. He struck out against Lilian Amoros and José Paula and made one error. [6]
