Biographical Information[edit]

Víctor Luna was the starting third baseman for the Dominican national team that won Gold in the 2022 Bolivarian Games. He led off in their opener, becoming the first Dominican batter in a Bolivarian Games, and grounded out against Ken Ishihara of Peru. His first hit came off a fellow Víctor, Víctor Aguilar of Venezuela. For the Games, he hit .400/.524/.600 with three doubles, five walks, five runs and four RBI in six games though he fielded .842. He tied for 5th in the Games in runs, tied for 5th in hits, tied Josuel Chalas for the most doubles, tied for 8th in RBI, tied for 8th in total bases, tied Rider Zevallos for fourth in average, tied Gerson Jiménez for second in OBP (.047 behind Stanley Javier), tied David Lozano for third in walks and tied Junnell Ledezma for the most errors (3).
