Biographical Information[edit]
Unubold Oyunbaatar was the catcher for the Mongolian national team in the 2014 Asian Games. He struck out in his only at-bat against China's Song Ran in the first of three five-inning mercy rule losses. In game 2, he was 0 for 1 with a walk against Adil Sardar and made an error against Pakistan. He was retired by Japan's Takayuki Kato then got a hit off Koshiro Imamura for Mongolia's second and last hit in the three games. He thus finished 1 for 4 with a walk and two errors in five total chances; Munkhbat Dashzeveg got Mongolia's only other hit.
