University of Tennessee at Martin

University of Tennessee at Martin was founded as a two-year college extension of the University of Tennessee known appropriately as University of Tennessee Junior College. It began offering four-year degrees in 1951 and changed names to University of Tennessee Martin Branch. The school was separated from UT and given its current name in 1967. It has sponsored baseball in 1927-1931 and 1957 to the present. Phil Goodwin, Brad Goss, Alec Mills and George Ogilvie went here.
