Biographical Information[edit]
Tim Tolman was a coach for the Tucson Toros in 1990, then managed in the Houston Astros chain from 1991 to 1996. He was a scout in 1997-1999 and a scouting supervisor for the Astros in 2000-2002, then became minor league field coordinator for the Cleveland Indians from 2003 to 2006. Tolman then became third base coach of the Washington Nationals in 2007. In 2010, he was named bench coach of the Cleveland Indians, joining manager Manny Acta, for whom he had worked in Washington.
