Biographical Information

Tetsuyuki Fujimura has pitched for the Japanese national team.

Fujimura played for Toshiba in the industrial leagues after college. He pitched for Japan in the 2023 Asian Championship. He relieved Hiroki Suzuki in the 7th inning against the Philippines, pitched 2 shutout innings and struck out four. Fujimura then succeeded Raiku Katayama in the 9th inning against South Korea. He struck out Sung-woo Kim, retired Min-jun Lee then gave Jun-young Jeong another strikeout to close the door. Japan won Gold in the event.
