Tetsuyuki Fujimura has pitched for the Japanese national team.
Fujimura played for Toshiba in the industrial leagues after college. [1] He pitched for Japan in the 2023 Asian Championship. He relieved Hiroki Suzuki in the 7th inning against the Philippines, pitched 2 shutout innings and struck out four. Fujimura then succeeded Raiku Katayama in the 9th inning against South Korea. He struck out Sung-woo Kim, retired Min-jun Lee then gave Jun-young Jeong another strikeout to close the door. Japan won Gold in the event. [2]
