• 1970 - Willie Mays singles against Mike Wegener for his 3,000th career hit.
• 1987 - Don Mattingly (pictured) homers for the eighth straight game, tying Dale Long's 31-year-old record.
• 1999 - With Don Larsen throwing out the opening pitch to Yogi Berra to commemorate his perfect game, David Cone promptly tosses a perfecto of his own. He strikes out 10 Expos.
