Talk:Alfredo Despaigne

From BR Bullpen

Over 175 links. I wonder if he's one of our most-linked players, let alone most-linked non-MLB players. He's also made Today's News for the 5th year. - --Mischa (talk) 16:14, 19 July 2017 (UTC)

Answering my own question, the most linked players are (assuming I didn't miss any): Babe Ruth (787 links, the 326th most links of any page and the only player in the top 450), Ted Williams (500), Willie Mays (497), Hank Aaron (485), Barry Bonds (446), Ty Cobb (441), Mickey Mantle (432), Roberto Clemente (416), Lou Gehrig (397) and Alex Rodriguez (370). Sadaharu Oh (247) at the 1,093th most-linked page seems to be the top non-MLB player. He is followed by Rob Cordemans (206), then Despaigne (189), Josh Gibson (180) and fellow Cuba/NPB player Omar Linares (179). I'm not counting Gary Bedingfield, who has 199 links but almost all as an author rather than a player. - --Mischa (talk) 16:27, 19 July 2017 (UTC)
