Biographical Information[edit]
Gary Bedingfield is the author of the book Baseball in World War II Europe and a number of books about baseball during the war.
A catcher, he had played for the Enfield Spartans for over 20 years, helping them to three British titles (1989-1991). He played for the Great Britain national team in the 1986 European B-Level Championship (homering versus Sweden), 1989 European Championship (2 for 18, 2B, 4 RBI, SB) and 1991 European Championship (0 for 12, R).
