Is the Birmingham Industrial League the same thing as the Birmingham Y.M.C.A Industrial League? And was it a segregated? It Looks like all the players listed played in the Negro Leagues. Philippe (talk) 14:19, 8 February 2022 (UTC)
The Birmingham Industrial League, from what I have read, is the general term applied to the various Birmingham Industrial Leagues from 1910s to 1970s, or so. The Birmingham Y.M.C.A Industrial League was a subset of those leagues. I'm not sure if the leagues were segregated, actually. Haven't done enough research yet. But it seems like the BYIL at least was exclusively black. -John1941 (talk) 17:43, 8 February 2022 (UTC)
Looks like Acipco had both white and black teams, then. Which makes sense in the segregated south of that time. Philippe (talk) 14:07, 9 February 2022 (UTC)
