Biographical Information[edit]

Catcher Steve Roadcap was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 18th round of the 1982 amateur draft and played in the Cubs' chain from 1982 to 1986. .

From 2000 to 2002, Roadcap was the minor league catching instructor for the Seattle Mariners. He joined the Philadelphia Phillies organization in 2006 as manager of the Batavia Muckdogs, then moved on to the Lakewood Blue Claws for the 2007 and 2008 seasons. He was skipper of the Reading Phillies of the Eastern League for the 2009 and 2010 seasons.
