In her debut, she struck out all three outs against the US (Malaika Underwood, Samantha Cobb and Natalie Land) but also walked one and allowed a hit and two unearned runs in one inning after relieving Jacinda Barclay. In her second game, she started against defending champion Japan and got pounded for 3 hits, 3 walks and 7 runs (3 earned) in 1 1/3 IP in taking the loss.
