Biographical Information

Shelby Robertson has pitched in the US, Mexico and Europe.

Robertson split 2010 between the Yuma Scorpions (0-2, 8.10, 25 H in 16 2/3 iP) and Tijuana Cimarrones (0-1, 3.72). At the plate, he was a combined 3 for 14 with a walk and a double. In 2011, he pitched for the Arrows Ostrava in the Czech Extraliga. He went 12-7 with a 3.37 ERA and 110 strikeouts in 141 2/3 IP. He led the league in wins (one ahead of Marek Červenka), tied for 4th in losses, led in complete games (9, 4 more than anyone else), led in innings pitched, was second in runs allowed (76), was second in earned runs allowed (53, 2nd to Jakub Toufar), was 9th in ERA (between Petr Minařík and Jiří Gál) and ranked second in strikeouts (between Červenka and former major leaguer Roger Deago). For 2012, he signed with Germany's Solingen Alligators. He debuted on March 31, allowing 4 runs (3 earned) and 9 hits in 6 innings in a loss to the Bonn Capitals.
