The Bonn Capitals were formed in November of 1989. They have teams at several levels of German competition, including Bundesliga 1. They are based out of Bonn. They won their first title in 2018 behind the stellar pitching staff of MVP Maurice Wilhelm (1-0, 5 Sv, 1.06; .348/.467/.725), Sascha Koch (11-0, 1.07), Markus Solbach (6-0, Sv, 0.38) and Riley Barr (7-0, Sv, 0.96). They won again in 2022 behind the hitting of Wilson Lee (.398/.495/.687), Eric Brenk (.424/.465/.626) and Daniel Lamb-Hunt (.333/.471/.555) and a stellar bullpen including Lee, Nick Miceli and former major leaguer Dovydas Neverauskas.
