Jiří Gál debuted in the Extraliga in 2006 with the Arrows Ostrava, going 0-1 with a 3.63 ERA in eight games. In 2007, he was 0-2 with a save and a 3.45 ERA in 10 outings. He posted a 3-2, 2 Sv, 2.68 record in 2008, finishing 8th in the circuit in ERA.
