Biographical Information

Shane Bowers, who won 61% of his games in the minors, pitched briefly in the majors with the Minnesota Twins in 1997. He pitched for the Yokohama BayStars in Nippon Pro Baseball and the Hyundai Unicorns in Korea, leading the 2003 KBO in ERA (3.01).

He later was a Philadelphia Phillies scout, signing Kelly Dugan, Mario Hollands, Spencer Howard and Eric Massingham.
