Sefard Seferina was one of the less talented members on a star-studded 2002 Curacao team that won the Senior League title. Teammates included Jair Jurrjens, Shairon Martis, Hainley Statia, Sharlon Schoop, Curt Smith and Rubi Koko. Seferina played for the MediaMonks RCH in the 2007 Hoofdklasse, going 3 for 23 with 3 walks, a steal, 3 runs and 2 RBI. He threw out 3 of 5 attempted base-stealers and had one error in 2 games at catcher and played error-free ball in 5 games in the outfield, registering one assist. In the 2008 Haarlem Baseball Week, Seferina was 1 for 7 while backing up Randolph Kirindongo at catcher for the Dutch Antilles/Aruba team.
In the 2008 Americas Baseball Cup, Seferina was 0 for 11 with 2 walks, 2 steals and 2 runs for the Dutch Antilles. He threw out 4 of 5 attempted base-stealers, though, showing off a great arm. He led all players in the tournament in runners thrown out.
