Samana, Samana

Samana, or more formally Santa Barbara de Samana, is the capital of Samana Province, located in the eastern Dominican Republic, on the north coast of Samana Bay. It is 20 miles north of Sabana de la Mar, Hato Mayor, which lies across the bay.
