Biographical Information[edit]
Alfredo Figaro was signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers and scout Angel Santana in 2004. After spending that summer with the DSL Dodgers 1, he was released.
The Detroit Tigers signed Figaro and he spent 2005 with the DSL Tigers. He came stateside in 2006 with the GCL Tigers.
Figaro signed with the Orix Buffaloes for 2011. He debuted on April 14, allowing five runs in six innings in a loss to the SoftBank Hawks. He returned to the major leagues in 2013 with the Milwaukee Brewers.
Figaro is the cousin of Fernando Rodney, who was his teammate on the Tigers.
