Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Ryan Trask is the brother of Michael Trask and Amy Trask. He began playing ball in South Africa and continued upon moving to England in 1999. He played for Britain in the 2002 European Junior Championship Qualifiers. He was a late injury replacement in the 2009 Baseball World Cup but did not get into a game. He was on Britain's roster for the 2010 European Championship but did not get into a game.
When Britain won the 2013 B-Level European Championship for a spot in the 2014 European Championship, he hit .235/.278/.294 in the round-robin with five RBI in five games. He tied Dominick Golubiewski, Krum Temelkov and Mitch Evans for 5th in RBI. In the title game, he was 2 for 3 with a RBI, driving in an insurance run in a 2-0 win over Ukraine; his single off Kostyantyn Korolov plated Brett Rosen. He retired from Britain's league 5th all-time in both steals (106) and homers (28). He was named to the British Baseball Hall of Fame in the class of 2022 alongside Richard Klijn, Frank Parker Jr., Stephan Rapaglia, Doreen Megson and Brian Holland.
