Biographical Information[edit]

Ryan Moore followed his brother Eric Moore onto the French national team. [1]

He was 2 for 5 with 3 runs and a RBI for Catholic University in 2021. In the 2021 U23 European Championship, he hit .313/.389/.313 and handled 20 chances error-free as France's main shortstop. He led the event with 17 assists. [2] He was 0 for 8 with two walks, two runs and a RBI in college in '22 and 2-for-7 with a run and 3 RBI in 2023. In the 2023 U23 European Championship, he went 2-for-8 with 4 walks, a steal, a run and two RBI, handling 14 chances error-free; he moved to second as Mathis Meurant played short. He tied for 7th in the event with 8 assists. [3]

Making France's senior team for the 2023 European Championship. He debuted against the Netherlands, replacing Dylan Gleeson at second late in a 9-0 loss. He struck out against Wendell Floranus his lone at-bat. He hot a RBI against Ukraine when his grounder against Yevhenii Tkachenko scored Nolan Soliveres; he had replaced Felix Brown at short. Continuing to back up Gleeson and Brown, he finished 1-for-5, handling five chances without a miscue; pinch-hitting for Brown, his hit came off Czechia's Ondřej Satoria. [4]
