Biographical Information[edit]

Ryan Kulik made it to AAA in 2010.

Kulik was 3-2 with a 3.48 ERA, 77 strikeouts in 64 2/3 innings and a .227 opponent average in college in 2007. In '08, the southpaw improved to 10-2, 1.72 with 144 whiffs in 94 1/3 IP and a .181 average allowed. He led NCAA Division III in strikeouts and K per 9 innings and tied for 8th in wins. He was named Division III All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association.

The St. Louis Cardinals took Ryan in the 8th round of the 2008 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Koby Perez. He split time between the Batavia Muckdogs (1 UER in 6 IP) and the Quad Cities River Bandits (5-5, 5.53, .352 opponent average, .431 versus his fellow lefties, but only 10 walks in 57 innings).

In 2009, Kulik was with the Palm Beach Cardinals (1-1, 5.25, 17 K in 12 IP) and Springfield Cardinals (6-10, 5.40, .310 opponent average). Through mid-August, he has pitched in 2010 with Springfield (7-2, Sv, 3.08) and the AAA Memphis Redbirds (1-4, 5.31, 30 BB in 39 IP).

Kulik spent six seasons as an assistant coach at Rowan University, then became head coach at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey at Camden in 2020.
