Roy Acuff was an announcer for the San Antonio Missions from 1988-2012. He worked over 3,000 games and saw Pedro Martinez, Mike Piazza, Felix Hernandez, Eric Gagne and Adrian Beltre play for the Missions. He was inducted into the Texas League Hall of Fame in 2011 alongside players Roberto Alomar, Gregg Jefferies, Curley Maloney, Claude Robertson, Hank Robinson and Pete Turgeon.
