Biographical Information

Catcher Claude "Ug" Robertson played about two decades in the minors, spending nine seasons in the Texas League and hitting .279 during that span. He topped .300 three times in his career, peaking at .324 with the 1926 Beaumont Exporters. At the end of his career, he also spent several years as a player-manager, guiding Beaumont (1927-1929) and San Antonio (1931-1932).

He was elected to the Texas League Hall of Fame in 2011
