Biographical Information[edit]
Ronnie Krsolovic (3B-P) is a current member of the Croatian national team following a playing career at Harford Community College (2016-17) and Oakland University (2018-19). He played independent pro ball in the Empire League during the 2020 and 2021 seasons for the Tupper Lake Riverpigs, making the all-star team in 2021 and leading the league with 38 walks while slashing .235/.341/.437. =He was an NJCAA Academic All-American in 2017. His father Ken Krsolovic was a college coach and managed for Croatia.
He was born in Philadelphia and raised in Cleveland, OH. [1] He was an All-Star in basketball and baseball in high school and continued basketball and cross country in college. [2] He hit .202/.295/.323 at Oakland University in 2018 and .219/.323/.319 in 2019. He was 1 for 13 with two walks for Croatia in the 2019 European U-23 Championship. [3] In the 2019 European Championship, he hit .240/.269/.360 (the official stats report website lists a lower batting line but excludes the stats from the second British-Croatian game due to an error) and handled 14 chances with one error. In two relief appearances he allowed no runs and just 1 hit and 1 walk with 3 strikeouts in 2 1/3 innings, the most-effective Croatian hurler. He scored their only run in a loss to Alex Seidl and Austria, driven in by Ross Vukovich following a triple. He tied for the Croatian team lead in batting average, going .400/.500/.533 in the 2021 European Championships in Italy, as Croatia placed 7th, its highest finish ever. [4]
He was an assistant coach in 2020 and 2021 at Lake Erie College and is currently coaching at Kenyon College. [5]
