Biographical Information[edit]

RJ Vukovich has played in the US and Croatia. His father Ross Vukovich Sr. coached him with the Croatian national team.

RJ hit .273/.406/.400 with 10 RBI in 19 games for the 2014 Raton Osos, as a backup middle infielder. He then played for Croatia in the 2014 European Championship, hitting .250/.308/.500 with two homers as their starting shortstop; he fielded .769, with six errors. He had three hits in a 11-10 win over Sweden. He led Croatia's regulars in slugging, .091 ahead of Slobodan Gales and had two of their three homers, Mario Manojlov getting the other. He just missed the event's top 10 in home runs (11 players had 3 or more) but led in errors, one ahead of teammate Michel Čurić and Oskar Vejkdahl. He was assistant coach at the University of Mount Union in 2014.

Vukovich played for Olimpija BC in the 2015 Croatian league, winning MVP of the Croatian Cup. In the 2015 B-Level European Championship, he hit .211/.318/.263 but did drive in six runs in six games and fielded well (.967). He was second on the team in RBI, behind Nikola Sertić. He tied for fourth in the Karlovac pool in RBI, led in double plays turned (10) and was second to Jan Jablonka in assists.
