Biographical Information[edit]
Oscar Vejkdahl-Thorsberg hit .260/.370/.260 for the Sundbyberg Heat in 2014 but still made the Swedish national team for the 2014 European Championship. He started at short in the opener and struck out his first at-bat, against Britian's Spencer Kreisberg but then was yanked for PH Simon Emanuelsson. His first hit was off France's Leonel Cespedes. His longest hit was a double off Germany's Enorbel Marquez. He finished at .235/.381/.294 and fielded .839 with five errors in seven games. His four times plunked tied Zack Wiley and Nico Filice for the tourney lead. He also tied Richard Klijn for 6th in assists (20) and tied Michel Čurić for 2nd in errors (one behind RJ Vukovich).
