Kenyon College is known as the alma mater of both actor Paul Newman and President Rutherford B. Hayes. However, only one major league baseball player has gone there, Harry Wolverton. Wolverton was successful in the majors, playing nine seasons and accumulating over 3,000 major league at-bats.
