Ronald Quiroga was on the Bolivian national team in the 2011 South American Championship. In the 2016 South American Championship, he was 0 for 5 at the plate, fielded .714 and allowed one unearned run in 1/3 of an inning. He did better in the 2018 South American Championship. Playing 1B, RF, DH and P, he hit cleanup for Bolivia and hit .250 with one run and two RBI. He led the team in RBI and tied Nataniel Cespedes for second on the team with 3 hits, one behind Yausmel Alfaro. He also easily led the team in ERA; against Chile, he went 7 innings and allowed 6 hits, 7 walks and 4 runs (2 earned) while fanning four. The next-best ERA on the team was 16.71 by Marco Davalos and he tied Davalos for the most Ks by a Bolivian hurler.
In Bolivia, he has played for Cochabamba.
