Biographical Information[edit]

[1] In the 2018 South American Championship, he hit .333/.467/.417 as Bolivia's starting center fielder, scoring one run. He also pitched once, allowing six runs (all earned) on four hits and two walks in one inning, fanning none. He led Bolivia in hits (one ahead of Ronald Quiroga), average (Quiroga was next at .250), OBP (Felix Beroes was next at .417) and slugging (Quiroga was next at .250). [2] He was not the only Cuban to play for Bolivia in the event as Yander Matos was also on the squad.
