Rodrigo Yudi Kanashiro

Biographical Information[edit]

Rodrigo Kanashiro has played for the Brazilian national team.

Kanashiro won Bronze with Brazil in the 2011 South American Championship [1] and Silver in the 2013 South American Championship. [2] In the 2016 South American Championship, he hit .333/.571/.444 with six runs and five RBI in five games, handling three chances error-free. He was not the only Kanashiro in the tourney as Giancarlo Kanashiro played for Peru. While Rodrigo did not play in the title game (won by Brazil), he finished 4th in OBP behind teammates Felipe Burin, Iago Januário and Gustavo Roque. [3] He was listed on Brazil's roster for the 2018 South American Championship but was apparently replaced prior to the tourney.
