Ro-gyeol Yoo has played in the KBO and for the South Korea national baseball team.
Yoo represented Korea in the 2018 BFA U-18 Baseball Championship. He was drafted by the Hanwha Eagles in the 2nd round of the 2019 KBO draft, and he hit .164/.230/.236 in 39 games in 2019. he struggled at the plate as he only hit .167/.239/.191 in 2020, and he recorded a .143/.218/.225 batting line in 2021. Yoo suffered from a right knee injury in 2022, and he only played 30 games with a .133/.200/.133 batting line. He had a .146/.173/.167 slash line in 27 games in 2023.
The Gwangju native then represented South Korea in the 2023 Asian Championship and was their primary right fielder. He was 0-for-3 against Chinese Taipei, and he went 2-for-5, with a solo shot against Kin-Nam Tsang, versus Hong Kong. Yoo had a 0-for-1 record against State of Palestine and he was 0-for-5 against the Philippines. He went 1-for-4 against Japan. In the Bronze Medal game, Yoo went 0-for-1 with three walks and Korea beat the Philippines with a 7-0 score to win Bronze. He only played 23 games in 2024, and he had a .222/.282/.250 batting line.
