Biographical Information[edit]
Rick Colbert caught for 11 years in the minor leagues, including five at AAA. He later managed in the minors for three years. In his best season as a player, he hit .277 with 10 HR and 62 RBI in A ball in 1980.
Colbert was a coach for the Arkansas Travelers in 1988 and Springfield Cardinals in 1989, then managed in the Cardinals' system for three years. He then moved to the Cleveland Indians' chain as a coach for the Canton-Akron Indians in 1993.
