Biographical Information[edit]

Third baseman Ray Borowicz spent four years in the minor leagues, playing from 1941 to 1943 and in 1946. Perhaps his best season was 1942, when he hit .277 with 103 hits in 107 games between the Pittsfield Electrics, Lockport White Sox and Jamestown Falcons.

He coached at Huntington (NY) High School, the University at Buffalo (1982 to 1987) and for the Burlington Indians.

His son, Ray Borowicz, Jr. played in the Cincinnati Reds system from 1971 to 1973.
