Jamestown Falcons

From BR Bullpen

Team History[edit]

The Niagara Falls Rainbows moved to Jamestown, NY on July 13, 1940. Jamestown disbanded on June 25, 1957 but the name was brought back in 1968, when the team's affiliation moved from the Atlanta Braves (who were operating the team under the name "Jamestown Braves") to the Boston Red Sox. The name was retained for a couple of seasons when the team was an affiliate of the Montreal Expos, but they changed it to Jamestown Expos in 1973.
