Biographical Information[edit]

Ranjani has played for the Indonesian national team.

He appeared for Indonesia when they won the Silver at the 2011 Southeast Asian Games, though he injured his wrist in that event. In the 2018 East Asian Baseball Cup, he starred for Indonesia, hitting .500/.529/.625 with 3 runs and 2 RBI in 4 games; he stole two bases in four tries and handled six chances error-free. In their only win, over Singapore, he was 4 for 4 with two runs and a RBI. For the event, he led Indonesia in average, tied Zidney Fahmidyan for the most doubles on the team (2), tied for second in runs for Indonesia (one behind Yana Gerhana) and easily led Indonesia with 8 hits (double Gerhana or Fahmidyan, the runners-up). He tied Adriane Ros Bernardo and Wing-Sing Li for the most hits in the Cup but was left off the All-Star team as Joseph Daru, Fahmidyan and Shi Feng Jeremy Yeo were picked as the outfielders.

Indonesia's baseball team made their first Asian Games in 2018; he hit 3rd in their opener (his sister played softball for Indonesia in the Games as well). He drew a walk from Chi-Kam Kenneth Chiu for their first walk but was stranded when Adi Susanto flew out and finished the day 0 for 4 against Hong Kong. For the Games, he hit .167/.211/.167 with one run and one RBI in five games, stealing one base. He handled 12 chances in LF and RF without an error.
