Biographical Information

Raees Bashir has been on the Pakistani national team.

He debuted in the 2023 Asian Championship, pinch-hitting for Fazal Ur Rehman in the 6th inning in their opener against tourney champion Japan. While Pakistan had been no-hit for the first five innings, he singled off Ryota Kudo to break up the no-no. After another pinch-hit appearance, he played regularly in left their last three games. He finished at .273/.500/.273 with five walks in five games; he had five putouts, one assist and one error in the outfield. He tied Masashi Maruyama and Ryosuke Aizawa for 4th in the event in walks and tied Ur Rehman for the best OBP on Pakistan.
