Biographical Information[edit]
Purevkhisig Davaa was the second baseman and fifth batter for the Mongolian national team in the 2014 Asian Games. He struck out against China's Ziliang Li and was retired by Jianzeng Sun; he also had 3 putouts and an assist that game. In the bottom of the 5th, he switched spots with P Battushig Munkhbat and allowed a hit that made it 15-0 to end the game due to the mercy rule. In the next contest, he went 0 for 2 against Pakistani national team's Adil Sardar and did not handle a chance in a 25-0 mercy rule loss. Against Japan, he went 0 for 2 with a K against Takayuki Kato and had a putout and assist. He was 0 for 6 overall as a result with 3 strikeouts, comparable to his teammates (2 for 39, 25 K). His 6 chances without an error made him one of only two error-free fielders for Mongolia, alongside 1B Baasandorj Batsaikhan.
