Biographical Information

Baasandorj Batsaikhan was the first baseman for the Mongolian national team in the 2014 Asian Games. Hitting 6th, he struck out against China's Ziliang Li and Jianzeng Sun, went 0 for 2 with a whiff versus Adil Sardar of Pakistan and fanned against Takayuki Kato and Koshiro Imamura of Japan. His 0-for-6 was not unusual on a Mongolian team that hit under .050 in the Games. He had 9 putouts, two assists and no errors.
