Biographical Information[edit]
Battushig Munkhbat debuted for the Mongolian national team in the 2014 Asian Games. He started in right field and hit 8th against China and struck out against Song Ran while registering two putouts. He then moved to the mound to replace Dechinsuren Bat Ochir and allowed a hit, two walks and two runs while retiring none. He then moved to 2B, switching spots with Purevkhisig Davaa. Against Pakistan, he again hit 8th at RF. He struck out against Adil Sardar and made one error. In the same position and batting spot versus Japan, he was retired by Takayuki Kato and had three putouts. He thus finished the Asiad 0 for 3 at the plate with a .833 fielding percentage and an ERA of infinity.
