Peach Street Mudders

The Peach Street Mudders are a team in Matt Christopher's early chapter books. The team has a series devoted to its different players as well as appearing in some of Christopher's other books, like The Dog That Pitched a No-Hitter. The team's starters were:

• Second Base: Nicky Chong (Shadow Over Second)
• Shortstop: Bus Mercer (All-Star Fever)
• Third Base: T.V. Adams (The Spy on Third Base)
• Right Field: Alfie Maples (Stranger in Right Field)
• Center Field: Jose Mendez (Centerfield Flyhawk)
• Left Field: Barry McGee (The Hit-Away Kid)
• Pitcher: Zero Ford (Zero's Slider)
• Manager: Coach Parker
