The Dog That Pitched a No-Hitter
The Dog That Pitched a No-Hitter is a children's book by Matt Christopher, originally published in 1988 and continually reprinted since. It is the story of a pitcher named Mike for a team called the Grant Avenue Giants. With the aid of his telepathic dog Harry, Mike is trying to pitch a no-hitter against the Peach Street Mudders, a team from some of Christopher's other books.
One notable mistake in the book is when it describes a pitcher committing a passed ball.
